After exiting from Woodlands Checkpoint, drive
straight. You will be on BKE. (Bukit Timah Expressway).
Within a few minutes, you will see the road sign (pic on the left),
filter left and enter into SLE (Seletar Expressway).
SLE cut across North Eastern parts of Singapore, franked by trees
and much greenery.
Note: After Exit 18 (to Lentor
Avenue), SLE splits to TPE (Tampines Expressway, towards Changi
Airport) on the left and CTE (Central Tunnel Expressway) on the
right.
Follow the main road into CTE.
You will then cruise along CTE passing Housing Estates such
as Ang Mo Kio and Toa Payoh. |

After Exit 7C (exit to Balestier Road), prepare
to exit CTE on Exit 6 to Bukit Timah Road.
Exit CTE into Bukit Timah Road and then keep left
Note:
Do not drive straight and enter the tunnel as it leads to Orchard
Road and Chinatown. |

Just after exiting CTE, turn left into Bukit
Timah Road, heading towards Serangoon Road
KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital is on your left.
Drive Straight
You will drive across Serangoon Road (T-junction) into Sungei Road. |

Once across Serangoon Road, you are on Sungei
Road (Tekka Mall is prominently on your left).

Note: Tekka Mall borders Singapore Little India. It has
a large air conditioned food court with delicious but reasonably
price local cuisine. |

After Tekka Mall, filter right.
You will see Sim Lim Square across the road on your right.
Turn right at the junction, you are on Bencoolen Street
Our Hotel 81 Bencoolen is on Bencoolen Street after Middle Road
& Bencoolen Street intersection. After Middle Road, keep right
and you will see us about 100 m from the traffic junction.
Note: Sim Lim Square sells mostly IT related, Electronic
products & appliances. If you like computer peripherals and
such, you will find this mall most interesting. |
